Nurse Practitioner
Jodi Steed FNP-BC has been dedicated to caring for neurology and neurosurgical patients since 2010. Before specializing in neurological disorders, she practiced internal medicine for five years. Jodi earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing in 1995, subsequently working in cardiovascular medicine, orthopedics, and public health.
In 2005, she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner from Kennesaw State University, where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society for nurses.
Since transitioning to neurology/neurosurgery, Jodi has provided comprehensive care with a subspecialty focus on headache management, multiple sclerosis, and dementia. Additionally, she has offered general neurology and stroke care to inpatient neurology patients since 2016. She is excited about the opportunity to offer her expansive knowledge base to the neurological/neurosurgical patients at Legacy Brain & Spine.
